Metrocentre Qube brings a brand new dimension in leisure and dining to Gateshead Metrocentre, helping to make your visit a complete shopping, leisure and dining experience.

The stylish new mall has become synonymous with dining and leisure at Metrocentre hosting 5 great new restaurants, a Namco Funscape with bowling alley and the fastest dodgem track in Europe.

A state of the art ODEON cinema offers the only IMAX theatre in the area.

The bright, modern and contemporary new mall with distinctive black and yellow branding has become a very popular part of the centre. The new exterior lighting makes a bold statement and can be seen from across the river.

Odeon IMAX Cinema

Located at the heart of the Qube in the Yellow Mall of the Metrocentre, the ODEON IMAX Cinema brings cutting edge technology with the introduction of both 3D and a Digital Imax screen, IMAX® offers the world's most immersive big screen film experience with crystal clear digital images in 2D or IMAX® 3D combined with state of the art laser-aligned sound and a customised auditoria layout for maximum impact. Luxury, premier and standard seating are available. The 12 screen ODEON IMAX Cinema offers:

• a VIP area
• 3D screen
• the first IMAX screen in the Region

Gallery tickets are available and include free soft drinks and popcorn plus extra wide seats and exclusive access to a VIP bar.

The Cinema also houses a Ben & Jerry's ice cream stand, Costa Coffee and two bars.



Namco Funscape

Situated on the ground floor of the Yellow Mall at Gateshead Metrocentre, the Namco Funscape in Metrocentre Qube will entertain young and old! Open 7 days a week from 10am to midnight it features 18 ten-pin bowling lanes, the fastest dodgem track in Europe, a children's soft play area, activity machines, electronic games and a fully licensed bar screening Sky Sports.

Bowling

For fun bowlers and the more serious players, Namco offers the very latest in bowling facilities including automatic scoring, feature lighting and 'bumpers' to help less experienced bowlers.
