Swalwell Juniors Football Club

Swalwell Juniors Football Club is located in Tyne and Wear between the villages of Swalwell and Rowlands Gill on the old Derwenthaugh Coke works site. Our facilities include: Club house, Changing rooms, Games room, Public bar and a Function Room (which is available for hire). We have two 11-a-side grass pitches (one under flood lights), four Astro turf 5-a-side pitches (all under floodlights and available for hire) and two Junior 7-a-side pitches are under development. A private car park is currently under construction although a public car park is also currently available.

Swalwell has had a very long tradition of football clubs but never have we had so many teams as we have today. The club currently comprises 19 teams which are made up from 200+ children aged 6 to 17 and 1 Adult Team.

Swalwell Juniors FC is fully committed to the FA Child Protection and Best Practice Policy and employs a designated Child Protection Officer. A copy of this policy can be viewed at the club, or by visiting www.thefa.com

Swalwell Juniors FC boasts facilities which are second to none for an amateur youth club and we are very happy to welcome anyone to the club at any time. Please feel free to come along and meet us.
